There are a wide range of neck injuries, many are found in conjunction with back and shoulder injuries.
up to £85,000
The highest level of compensation is when the injury shatters leaving the claimant disabled for life.
The lowest amount of compensation would be rewarded to claimants who suffer from minor strain, may not have time off work and only suffer the symptoms for at least a month.

This would be neck injuries associated with paraplegia or resulting in permanent spastic quadriparesis, another would be when the injured had been wearing a neck collar 24 hours a day for a period of years but still have little or no movement in their neck and constantly suffers headaches.
£36,000 to £71,500
Other types of injuries which fall short of the above but would give rise to disability e.g. permanent damage to the brachial plexus would be rewarded between the compensation figure shown above.
Soft tissue or ruptured tendons resulting in permanent disability would get up to £30,000 in compensation. The compensation would depend on the length of the injury time which the most serious symptoms were affecting the claimant.
